What is MindPing?

Supporting creativity for innovation and problem solving with MindPing. Random creative stimulus for us all, using word association.

Some creativity pointers

  • Creativity can take practice
  • Creativity can be very different for different people
  • Not everyone is creative, or can learn to be creative
  • Like falling asleep, creativity cannot be forced or rushed
  • Some people find that random word stimulus boosts their creativity

Claims of MindPing usefulness

No claims are made for the effectiveness of MindPing because there are no formal studies on MindPing

However users have reported the following positive outcomes:

  • When switching focus onto any purpose, MindPing helps bring thoughts to the surface
  • Academics writing a biochemistry paper and trying to explain anomalies in test results, identified two new variables using MindPing
  • 17% increase in risks identified in small workshop (list was thought to be complete prior to using MindPing)
  • Checking if pre-project review has identified all relevant variables for large IT change (two iterations with MindPing at the end of the session revealed more factors, then one more MindPing iteration without further findings demonstrated the findings were complete)
